ABOUT ME
Alexandra López is a passionate and versatile theatre artist of Panamanian and Puerto Rican heritage based in Washington, D.C. She has most recently appeared in NextStop Theatre's Footloose (Travis/Jeter/Eleanor) and Monumental Theatre Company's workshop of the new musical Built For This (Tiger). Alexandra also has an extensive dance background, including 19+ years of classical ballet and modern dance training. Additionally, she loves to work with children and has spent several years working as a freelance teaching artist. Alexandra recently graduated from CUA in May 2024 with a B.M. in Musical Theatre and again in May 2025 with a Master's of Science in Business.

As a child, she was the type to create and stage new plays at recess, choreograph ballets in her room, and make her own music videos on the family iPad. From dancing to old Shakira songs in the living room with her dad to eventually majoring in Musical Theatre, she has always loved to perform for others. Throughout the years she has also tacked on some more hobbies, including some amateur crochet (ask me about my creations!!), hiking, and baking sweet treats and mac & cheese for her friends and family.
